Fear the Maniacs
Our club was officially formed in 2018 when members of Cape Fear, Onslow County, and Triad Women's Rugby Clubs came together and established our current club. It's been 4 years since then and we certainly have come a long way as a team, our membership has grown to almost 30 active members as well! In the fall of 2021, we voted unanimously to permanently merge Cape Fear and Onslow Women together as one. While this vote doesn't really change the way our three clubs operate, it provides us with a new beginning to further the unity and growth of our club. We also have had amazing editions from Fayetteville Women's Rugby join us this season as well.
In the spring of 2022, we made our first appearance at State Championships and finished in second place out of our region. Summer of 2022 we had five of our members selected to play with our regions Select 7's squad.
